Starting from here fly into Guwahati, which is the gateway to the northeast of Assam. Arrive at Guwahati; meet and greet; thereafter, start your road journey to Bhalukpong. Bhalukpong is a town along the boundary of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and is replete with scenic beauty along with the Kameng River, which flows alongside the town.

Route experience lush greenery and curved roads. Reach and check into a hotel, the rest of the day free. The camera is ready for some worthwhile clicks. Have a good breakfast and on a very scenic drive to Dirang in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. On the way, visit the Tipi Orchidarium which boasts of around thousands of varieties of orchids.

Dirang offers perfect blends of grandiose scenic beauty, delightful weather, and rich tribal culture. Dirang Monastery and Dirang Dzong: An old tribal village. End your day here and then you can see the breathtaking views of Dirang Valley. Climatic conditions are cooler, so pack in some light woollens.

Get ready to see the crowning glory of Arunachal Pradesh heading towards Tawang. En route, stop over at the well-known Sela Pass (13, 700 ft)-one of the world's highest motorable passes. You would see the magnificent Sela Lake and you would also pay respect to the heroism displayed by soldiers of India by visiting Jaswant Garh War Memorial. After reaching Tawang, check in at your hotel.

Let's experience the beauty of the town. At such heights, you may feel a bit of aches so drink a lot of water and walk slowly. Tawang is beautiful in the form of nature and spiritualism as well. The essence of any tour itinerary of Arunachal Pradesh can be only emphasized through a visit to this place.

The first attraction for the day would be the Tawang Monastery, which is the largest in India and holds vital religious significance for the Buddhists. Then, the Tawang War Memorial is the second attraction of the day, marking the glory of the heroes and martyrs of the Indo-China war in 1962. The last is the picture-perfect Sangestar Tso Lake, otherwise referred to as Madhuri Lake, because of its exceptional beauty. Approach to any monastery is said to be disrespectful if no one is seriously dressed appropriately.

On Day 5, return from Bomdila-pretty town that is famous for its view of the Eastern Himalayas. Visit some point at Bomdila Monastery and the Bomdila Viewpoint with its panoramic view of the snow-covered mountains. In this town is a local market filled with handicraft items to buy as souvenirs; shop here after negotiating local handicraft items.
