Itinerary

Day 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport - Gangtok (120 Kms | 4 Hrs.)

Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway station, after greetings proceed to Gangtok, at an altitude of 5500ft.Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel & rest of the day is free to spend on your leisure. You could explore the famous MG Marg (on your own) this time. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok | Tsomgo Lake | Baba Mandir | Nathu-La Pass (Optional)

After a wholesome breakfast in the morning, you will leave for a visit to the famous Tsomgo Lake. Shaped like an oval, the lake is located 40 km away from the city of Gangtok and has an elevation of about 3,780 m above sea level. Apart from its breathtaking scenic beauty, the lake is also famous for housing the Brahminy Ducks and many other migratory birds. Following this will be a visit to the shrine of the famous Baba Harbhajan Singh, a war hero. The shrine is popularly called the Baba Mandir. Day 3: Enjoy the panoramic view on your drive from Gangtok to Lachen (130 Kms | 6 Hrs.)

On this day, you will leave the city of Gangtok and head to the beautiful valley of Lachen. After a sumptuous, heavy breakfast at the hotel you will drive to Lachen (9500 Ft. / 6 Hrs.), surrounded by snow-capped peaks. On the way, you will visit the beautiful destinations of Tashi View Point, Seven Sisters WaterFalls, Naga Waterfalls & Singhik View point. Do stop on this highway for ‘sikkimese’ lunch. The main attractions of Lachen are the snow-capped peaks, Shingbha Wildlife Sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley and Thangu. Reach Lachen by evening. After an overnight at Lachen, you will be travelling to your next destination.

Day 4: Lachen | Thangu | Gurudongmar Lake | Lachung

You will start the day early to start the journey towards Gurudongmar Lake through the Kanchenjunga National Park. The scenic Gurudongmar Lake will welcome you with beautiful sights of the hills and the glacial waters. After an unwinding session here, drive through Thangu valley and get back to the Hotel for lunch. After a delicious lunch at the hotel, our representative will take you to a hotel at Lachung. There is a valley here through which a River called Lachen Chu flows. It is known as the Holy Lake and is covered in snow for 9 months, or more. We drive through a cold dessert until we reach the Tibet-China border. Upon arrival, you may visit Lachung Monastery. You will spend the night at your hotel. Sip some hot tea and release the stress as you prepare yourself for more adventure.

Day 5: From Lachung to Yumthang Excursion, Zero Point (Optional) & then a driver back to Gangtok

Post early morning breakfast, proceed to Yumthang Valley, which is Known as the Valley of Flowers (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1-2 hours one way) and Zero Point, further up and about 23kms from Yumthang at an altitude of over 15,000 ft is the place Zero Point (also known as Yume Samdong). On the way back, visit Hot spring, considered to have medicinal properties. Have lunch & move to Gangtok. Upon arrival at Gangtok, check-in to your hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6: Gangtok - Pelling via Ravangla & Namchi

After a wholesome breakfast, we will start the journey to Namchi, considered the cultural capital of Sikkim. Visit Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham), the complex has a 108 feet tall statue of Shiva, replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas, models of sacred Char Dham Hindu Temples of Jagannath, Badrinath, Dwaraka and Rameswaram and a 17-feet statue of Kirateshwar a hunter incarnation of Shiva. Then, we will proceed to Ravangla. Upon arrival, visit Buddha Park & Buddha statue (130 ft high statue of Buddha). Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal, is situated near Rabong (Ravangla) in South Sikkim district, Sikkim, India. It was constructed between 2006 and 2013 and features a 130-foot (40 m) high statue of the Buddha as its centerpiece. Later, we will head to Pelling, The town is adorned with monasteries and nature's mystique. The sight of Himalayan peaks from this town is unforgettable. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel.
