Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Srinagar and Local Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be met with assistance and transferred to your hotel. Your itinerary includes a visit to the Mughal Garden, "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All). You will also enjoy a scenic drive along the lakeside on Boulevard and visit a local Handicrafts Emporium to explore hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, and jewelry ornaments. After lunch, you will visit the Shankaracharya Temple in the second half of the day. In the evening, you will experience a 1-hour boat ride on Dal Lake by a gondola boat called "SHIKARA." Witness the ride on the lake, known as the Venice of India, and experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. You will also see the scenic extravaganza of Kashmir and enjoy the profusion of colours in Paradise on Earth. While returning, you will visit the local crafts market to see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie and wood of a walnut. You will spend the night at the Deluxe Houseboat.
Shikara Ride
Day 2: Srinagar-Pahalgam
Travel from Srinagar to Pahalgam, also known as the "Valley of Shepherds," on a scenic drive through mesmerizing trails. Along the way, you may have the chance to visit saffron fields. Pahalgam is a popular hill station in India with its old-world charm and more than one reason to visit. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, freshen up, and head out for sightseeing. Explore the surrounding areas and the amazing marketplace in Pahalgam. Take a nature walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for its trekking routes and serves as the base camp for the Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Pahalgam - Srinagar
Transfers from Pahalgam to Srinagar. Afternoon day free to leisure activities to relax or for shopping. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 4: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar excursion
Today, after having breakfast, you will go on a full-day excursion to Sonamarg. This beautiful place is situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft and is also known as "The Meadow of gold". The backdrop of snow-capped mountains against the blue sky is a sight to behold. The Sindh River flows through the valley and is home to trout and mahseer. You can also hire ponies for your trip to Thajiwas Glacier, which is a popular local attraction during the summer. After a day of exploration, you will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Srinagar - Gulmarg Excursion
Experience a full-day return excursion to Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers." Located 53 km from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700 ft, Gulmarg is a popular ski resort and home to the world's highest 18-hole golf course. This destination was well-known during the British era. Take an optional cable car ride to enjoy the breathtaking view of Kongdori. Afterwards, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Departure
Departure at Srinagar Airport to connect the flight for onwards destination. TOUR ENDS WITH SWEET MEMORIES!
