Itinerary
Day 1: (27 Aug):Guwahati - Shillong (100 Kms.)
Welcome on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway station. After greetings, we will take you to Shillong, also called the Scotland of the East. You will come across the Umiam Lake (Barapani) while traveling from Guwahati to Shillong, capturing its mesmerizing beauty it has to offer. You may take a ride on a speed boat (at additional cost). Later visit the Donbosco Museum, the Cathedral Church, Lady Hydari Park and Ward's Lakewe shall move forward. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel & stay overnight.
Day 2: (28 Aug):Shillong - Cherrapunji
Today after breakfast, we will travel to Cherrapunjee. En-route visit Shillong peak(extra cost due to taxi uniun) to have a picturesque view of the entire city. Then visit Elephant Falls, named after an Elephant like stone at its foot, the Elephant Falls are amongst the most popular falls in the North-East. Upon arrival at Cherrapunjee, visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point, Dainthlen Falls, Wei Sawdong & Mawsmai Cave. Enjoy the beautiful evening. Overnight stay at Cherrapunje
Shillong Peak - Elephant Falls - Seven Sisters Falls
Day 3: (29 Aug):Cherrapunjee Excursion
After breakfast, get ready to explore Cherrapunjee. Visit Seven Sisters Waterfall, Eco Park, NohKaLikai Falls, Arwah Cave, Wah-Kaba Falls & Garden of Caves. In the evening, return to your hotel/homestay and enjoy the beautiful evening. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 4: (30 Aug):Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong – Dawki (Shnongpdeng)
Today, after breakfast, start your journey to Mawlynnong (it was awarded the prestigious tag of 'Cleanest Village in Asia' in 2003. Upon arrival do a short trek in the village & witness the local beauty. You can also visit Balancing Rock, Sky Viewpoint (Nohwet Viewpoint) & the longest living root bridge. Eat local lunch in the village.Then, we will proceed to the border town of Dawki, a hidden paradise. Upon arrival, visit Umngot River in Dawki is crystal clear & is considered one the cleanest rivers in. You can do boating (at an additional cost). Overnight stay at Dawki.
Mawlynnong - Dawki - Root Bridge - Bamboo Bridge
Day 5: (31 Aug):Shnongpdeng (Dawki) - Krang Suri Waterfalls - Jowai - Shillong
After breakfast You can do multiple adventure activities (at additional cost) like Kayaking, Boating, Zip lining, Cliff Jumping, etc over here. After activities, proceed to visit India's most magical waterfall - Krang Suri Waterfalls.Get drenched and swim in the natural pools. Also, visit Tyrshi Falls in Jowai. Later, I traveled back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 6: (01 Sep):Shillong - Laitlum Canyon - Mawphlang - Shillong
After breakfast, proceed to Laitlum Canyon. You can trek to the amazing Laitlum Canyon.Spend hours looking at the breathtaking gorges and steep winding stairways that snake their way down to the lush valley. Later, we will proceed further to Mawphlang. Upon arrival, explore the most famous sacred forests i.e. Mawphlang Sacred Forest. The sacred grove has an amazing life in the form of plants, flowering trees, orchids, and butterflies.Then travel back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 7: (02 Sep):Shillong - Guwahati
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Guwahati. En-route visit Beadon Bishop View Point. Upon arrival at Guwahati, complimentary visit to Kamakhya Temple and in evening proceed to Guwahati Airport / Railway station for your onward journey. Tour concludes with everlasting memories of Meghalaya..
