Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Arrival and Way to Gangtok

The travellers will be led by our spokesman to Gangtok, where they will be met at the Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and the New Jalpaiguri railway station (NJP). Gangtok is Sikkim's centre. At an elevation of 16,70 meters (5480 feet), India is a country rich in monasteries, ethical rituals, and celebrations that suit all tastes, from calm to fervour. This is one of the most beautiful cities, around 135 miles away, with many orchids, proie birds, and rhododendron plants. four to five hours in a car. Once at the hotel, the day is spent visiting a nearby shopping centre called M G Road (Mall), and the night is spent in Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok | Tsomgo Lake | Baba Mandir | Nathu-La Pass (Optional)

After a wholesome breakfast in the morning, you will leave for a visit to the famous Tsomgo Lake. Shaped like an oval, the lake is located 40 km away from the city of Gangtok and has an elevation of about 3,780 m above sea level. Apart from its breathtaking scenic beauty, the lake is also famous for housing the Brahminy Ducks and many other migratory birds. Following this will be a visit to the shrine of the famous Baba Harbhajan Singh, a war hero. The shrine is popularly called the Baba Mandir. Nathu-la Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20 Kms and is an optional tour (Strictly subject to availability).

Day 3: Gangtok to Pelling (130 Kms | 5 Hrs.)

After a wholesome breakfast, the journey shall be started to Pelling, The town is adorned with monasteries and nature's mystique. The sight of Himalayan peaks from this town is unforgettable. On a clear day you can catch the sight of the third largest peak of the world (Kanchenjunga). Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend on your leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 4: Pelling-Half Day Sightseeing & transfer to Darjeeling

After a delicious breakfast in the hotel, get ready for Pelling Sightseeing. where you will be covering attractions like Rimbi waterfalls, Sky-Walk, Rimbi Orange Garden Kanchenjunga waterFalls OR Khecheopalri Lake (a sacred lake and a pilgrimage center for all faiths) which is also known as the wish fulfilling lake. After lunch, start your journey to Darjeeling. All the way, you will be accompanied by the magical beauty of the Himalayas and the beautiful views of the valleys. Day 5: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop – Back to hotel for breakfast - After breakfast next round of sightseeing - Half Day city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda – Back to hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Amazing trip. Really enjoyed in Sikkim and Darjeeling. The only thing I didn't like is the hotel in Gangtok. We changed 3 rooms in 3 nights. The last night the room was very dirty and also the hotel is not at all hygienic. The tour agent Kaushik was very good and the car and driver assigned to us were very friendly. Overall I can give 3 and half star. Thanks
