Varanasi, Kashi or Banaras located along the holy Ganges River, is an important gem of Uttar Pradesh Cultural Tours and an unforgettable destination for Uttar Pradesh Holiday Packages. This ancient town of India offers a charming combination of spirituality, history and a colorful local cultural lifestyle. The city is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Kiomoi gives a customized four-day itinerary that you could experience together with your own family. The first day of the trip starts with arrival at Kashi, taking a look at your lodge and some rest. First, go to Kal Bhrawai Temple and seek the blessing of Kal Bharav. Take a peaceful stroll along the ghats in the middle of the night. The ghats of Banaras are the heart of the place, where life unfolds in a continuous cycle of prayers, life and death. Witness the great Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and Shivaye Mantra Japa. Start your day with a boat journey at the lake early the following morning. This fantastic experience offers breathtaking views of the ghats bathed in the soft morning life. Then visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most important Hindu Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Explore the narrow streets of the antique city, recounted for its colorful boutiques and conventional Banarasi silk embroidery. Visit a nearby silk manufacturing unit to see the exciting weaving method and probably buy a lovely sari or scarf. Enjoy conventional music and dancing in the nighttime. Varanasi is understood for its historic past of classical tunes and witnessing live performances is an exceptional addition to your Uttar Pradesh Family Package. On the third day, take a brief pressure to Sarnath, wherein the Buddha gave his first enlightening communication. Visit Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa and Sarnath Museum. Back to Kashi to put together dinner away. Enjoy local road meals like kachori, chaats and the famous Banarasi paan. Spend the midnight at Assi Ghat, wherein you can relax and revel in the peaceful atmosphere as compared to the busy Daseshwar Medha Ghat. It is time to bid farewell to Varanasi by visiting Ramnagar Fort, located on the eastern bank of the Ganges. This is a 17th-century fort and palace, still, the residence of the Kashi Naresh offers a glimpse into the historical past of Varanasi. The on-site museum displays vintage cars, royal palanquins, and antique weapons. Then enjoy the local culture and do some shopping for yourself and for your loved ones.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Varanasi - Halfday kashi tour
On arrival pick up from the airport or railway station and transfer to hotel. Later in the evening visit Ganga Ghat to see the famous Ganga Aarti ( a boat ride can also be enjoyed) & visit Vishalakshi temple, Annapurna Devi followed by Darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 2: Varanasi Local & Sarnath Excursion
In the morning after breakfast visit Kal Bhairao, Sankat Mochan, Durga Kund, Tulsi Manas temple and Birla temple (New KV) - BHU. Later proceed for a short excursion tour to Sarnath - where lord buddha sermons first after getting enlightenment. Sarnath was a place of Rishi’s & ascetic practice for more than 3000 years. You can visit Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamek Stupa & Main temple with Jain Temple just opposite it. Later evening on leisure for shopping. Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 3: Excursion to Chunar - Vindhyachal- IST Point
After breakfast at 8 am drive to Vindhyachal Devi Temple, followed by the Asth Bhuja (ropeway optional) & Kali Kho where on the way also visit IST point (Indian Standard time). Later visit Chunar fort which is the oldest living fort being initiated by Maharaja Vikramaditya. Doordarshan's popular telefilm Chandrakanta was based in this area (Chunargarh, Naugarh, Vijaygarh). There are multiple places inside the fort to visit like Jail, Sonwa Mandap, Bhatri Harinath Taposthal, Wells, Death Point, and Rani ka zharokha. Also, visit Lord Warren Hasting's Bungalow and solar clock (sometimes restricted). Later return back to Varanasi in the evening.
Day 4: Varanasi - Departure
In the morning after breakfast drive to Varanasi Railway Station or Varanasi Airport with memories of Holy yatra. The tour Ends with Great Spiritual Memories.?
