Phase 1: From Gulmarg to Kongdoori.

Phase 2: From Kongdoori to Apharwat Peak.

Phase 2: Approximately INR 1,000-INR 1,500 per person (one-way).

Heavy snowfall blankets the region, creating an ideal environment for skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports. The snow cover can sometimes exceed several feet deep, making the landscape a winter wonderland. However, it's essential to be prepared for harsh weather conditions and possible disruptions due to heavy snow.


Spring (April to June): As the snow begins to melt, temperatures gradually rise. Daytime temperatures range from 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F), while nights can still be quite cold, often dipping below freezing. This transition period is marked by blooming flowers and a lush, green landscape, offering a stark contrast to the snowy winter. It's a good time for trekking and enjoying the natural beauty without the extreme cold.


Summer (July to September): Summer temperatures in Gulmarg are quite pleasant, ranging from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F). This period offers clear skies and lush greenery, making it ideal for trekking and sightseeing. The milder weather provides a comfortable experience for outdoor activities, although occasional rain showers can occur.


Autumn (October to November): Temperatures begin to drop again, ranging from 5°C to 15°C (41°F to 59°F). The region sees a mix of rain and the early onset of snow. The changing foliage adds a beautiful golden hue to the landscape, and it’s a quieter time before the winter rush.
