This is an ancient temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated on the seashore of the Arabian Sea which provides beautiful views for worshippers and visitors. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a famous Hindu Temple located in Dwarka.


It is believed to be over 5000-year-old temple which makes it one of the oldest temples in the area. According to locals, the Shivalinga cherished here emerged naturally from the sea. During high tide, the temple gets partially submerged, giving it a unique and mystical appeal.

By auto or taxi, take NH947 and NH51 to Dwarka Beach from Gandhinagar. It takes 8 to 9 hours to cover 450 miles. A local cab or rickshaw will then drive you to the beach, this trip will take approximately 10 to 12 hours if you take the train from Gandhinagar to Dwarka Railway Station.
