From Pune

Distance: 120 km.  

Time: 3-4 hours.  

Route: Pune–Mumbai Expressway, exit at Lonavala, then drive to Dasturi Naka.  

Toll Tax: INR 150-INR 300.  

Taxi/Auto: Pune to Neral Taxi: INR 2000-INR 3000; Neral to Matheran Auto: INR 400-INR 500.  

From Dasturi Naka, walk or take a horse ride to Monkey Point.
