Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple

Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is one of the twelve famous Jyotirlingas which holds immense importance for devotees of Lord Shiva. Located near Dwarka in Gujarat this temple is one of the famous pilgrimage destinations. The term “Nageshwar” refers to the “Lord of Snakes,” it is believed that worshipping here helps devotees overcome the fear of snakes and all types of poisons.

This temple is unique in the sense that the Shiva Lingam faces to the south and the Gomugam faces towards the east.
