Prag Mahal is a 19th century palace in Bhuj, Gujarat, India. Built by Rao Pragamalji II, the palace construction started in 1865 and finished in 1879. It was built below the patronage of General Henry St. Paul. Wilkins so designed it in the Italian Gothic style, the palace being constructed of sandstone and marble.


The highlights of the Prag Palace are its tall clock tower with its panoramic view of Bhuj, and a beautiful court docket corridor furinsh with difficult structure and ancient statues. Behind the palace are the carved jharokhas (archways). There are lovely and difficult masonry.


Despite damage at one factor all through the 2001 earthquake, Prag Mahal remains much of its grandeur. Restoration efforts have helped keep the pristine splendor. The palace is a popular vacationer attraction, presenting a glimpse into the royal and beyond history of Gujarat.
