There are various attractions in Daman which attracts tourists from far and near. Some of these places are listed here.
A fort in Daman typically built with a strong influence on Portuguese architecture. Built-in 1559 AD at a time of when the Portuguese hold sway the western coast, the carved archways, Portuguese arms, reminds us of those times.
Another building with a trademark Portuguese style of construction is the Cathedral Church dedicated to Bom Jesus. It is located in the fort area of Moti Daman. The construction of this church was started in the year 1559 but finally consecrated in 1603 AD. The ornamented carved pieces near the altar tell a lot about the Portuguese craftsmanship of those times.
Located towards south towards the border of Gujarat at Moti Daman, Jampore Beach is a pleasant spot. The beach is suited to swimming as there are no hidden currents here. During low-tide, one can walk a long way into the sea. A picnic under the shades of Casurina plantation on the sea-shore is a much-favored activity in the Jampore Beach.
This is a comparatively smaller fort located at Nani Daman. Built over an area of 12,250 sq. it's it is enclosed with high stone walls. The fort has three bastions and two gateways. The fort’s main attraction is a giant gateway that faces the river with a large statue of St. Jerome. The imposing church of our Lady of the Sea is also located within the Fort and is the principal building.
The Devka Beach and Devka Garden are situated at Devka Village, Nani Daman. The long shoreline is the prime attraction at Devka. An amusement park with a musical fountain and a kid`s corner is very popular with the visiting tourist as well as local residents.

The Mirasol lake garden is located near to village Kadaiya in Nani Daman. This artificial lake garden consists of two islands connected with a bridge and also offers boating and dining facilities.

Satya Sagar Udyan is located on the Daman-Valsad Road, very close to the Coast Guard Air Station. The Satya Narayan Mandir is also located in close vicinity to this enchanting garden.
