Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary - One of the best places to visit in Kevadia is the Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary. Indigenous teak forest with Leopards, Sloth bears, Pangolins, Deer, and more than 100 species of birds, Reptiles, and Amphibians. The Unity Glow Garden is located right opposite the Valley of Flowers. This new garden centered around the Statue of Unity at Kevadia contains a glittering array of artworks, figures, and light effects, and the evenings around the Unity glow garden are lit beautifully and in color. Cactus Garden Statue of Unity - The Cactus Garden is one of the beautiful botanical gardens that is present at the Statue of Unity site, where a huge variety of Cacts and succulents are grown for the exhibition. It's one of the unique Statue of Unity places to visit. The idea behind the creation of the cactus garden is to be able to feel the desert environment within a piece of land that is strongly associated with water. Presently there are 6 lakh plants of 450 species in both the open area of 25 acres and the area covered in the dome of 836 square meters. The garden with cacti and the collection of succulents make this project a fascinating observation of nature’s wisdom for the students and other enthusiasts.

Sardar Patel Zoological Park - The Sardar Patel Zoological Park is a recently opened tourist spot near the Statue of Unity. It is known as Jungle Safari because the park is developed in an ‘Open Design’ and it feels like Wildlife Safari. You can see the animals in the natural environment, not in cages like most of the other zoos. Golf carts can also be used on a visit around the Sardar Patel Zoological Park. Currently, the zoo has over 5 lac plants distributed in 7 layers of the zoo. A few of the animals that are found in the zoo are the royal Bengal tiger, leopard, giraffe, zebra, rhino, deer, and antelope.

Valley of Flowers Statue of Unity - The Valley of Flowers is one of the famous places to visit near the Statue of Unity situated in Kevadia Colony in Gujarat. At present in the first phase, only 250 hectares of the area is developed. In the second phase, the organization is planning to develop it in 3000 hectares and hence the total area of the valley will be 3200 hectares. This place also has two lakes namely, Poyani and Kamal. The entire area of Valley of Flowers has a drip irrigation system. It consists of many varieties of flowers like Gulmohar, Khakhro, Sunflower, Tecoma, and Bougainvillaea, few climbers like Wadeliya, Allamanda Cathartica, and Qualisis. 

Sardar Sarovar Dam - The Sardar Sarovar Dam is a concrete gravity dam and ranks second largest in the world. It is located on the Narmada River near the Statue of Unity. The Dam took 56 years to construct and supply electricity, drinking, and irrigation water to four states in India namely; Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. The tickets purchased for visiting the Statue of Unity also permit the visitors to travel up to Sardar Sarovar Dam viewpoints. You can see the view of mountains and forest with the Narmada River. It is a great place to have a sunset picnic before heading back to the Statue of Unity for the laser show. 

Ekta Nursery - Located at Tyagi Ghat, Gora village in Kevadia town, Ekta Nursery is a plant nursery at a distance of six kilometers away from the Statue of Unity. Primarily, it specializes in several traditional environment-friendly products like Bamboo Craft, Areca Leaf Plates, Organic Pots, Bonsai & Ceramic Pots, Apiculture & Tribal Tea, etc. with the actual manufacturing demonstration. A bonsai-making training and display area has been provided so that one can learn the techniques of making a miniature of the forest giants.
