Bara Imambara
This is a striking monument with a big complex that consists of the Bhul-bhulaiya, Asfi Mosque and a Bowli. In the complex, the most important part is Bowli (maze). If we talk about its architecture, you will find it in the ornamented Mughal design. Built in a unique way, there was no use of metal or wood in constructing the mosque. 

Chota Imambara
While planning your itinerary, you must include Chota Imambara – a beautiful and elaborate complex. Built in 19th century, it has the tomb of Muhammad Ali Shah. Here, you can spend a day admiring the calligraphy and detailing on the walls. The most fascinating thing is silver throne and red crown of Muhammad. Its complex has two replicas of the grand Taj Mahal, a water tank and a garden. 

Jama Masjid
If you are planning a visit to Lucknow, then your sightseeing tour would be incomplete without exploring Jama Masjid. Being the prominent mosque in the city, it is known for intricate detailing and elaborate carvings that you’ll love. Rumi Darwaza 
In Lucknow, Rumi Darwaza is the most fascinating and much-loved monument that is known as a colossal entry gate to the city. Being an incredible structure, it stands between Chota Imambara and Bada Imambara. Built-in 1784, it is a true example of Awadhi architecture. You can visit here throughout the year. 

Lucknow Residency 
From the Nawab age, Lucknow residency is a residential complex that has numerous buildings. In the building complex, you will find Imambara, a mosque, a judicial post, Ommaney’s house, a brigade mess, Sago’s house, and Anderson’s post.

Lucknow Zoo
