Thrissur is the cultural city in the Indian state of Kerala. Thrissur City is built around the hillock Thekkinkadu Maidan which seats the Vadakkumnathan temple (Shiva Temple). It is the 5th most populous city in Kerala and 2nd largest corporation in the region. Thrissur is also known as spiritual as well commercial capital of Kerala because of its inclination to history and mythology.
