Are you wondering how to reach Himachal Pradesh? Find out the different ways to reach this beautiful place. It is easily accessible by the majority of the cities.

By air
The fastest way to travel to Himachal Pradesh is by air, though it is the most expensive option. You can go to Shimla or Kullu if you are heading to Manali, and Kangra or Pathankot if you are heading to Dharamsala. Most flights to these destinations are from Delhi, so you must reach Delhi first. The airport in Shimla, called Jubbal Hatti, is about 40 km from the main city. You can find pre-paid taxis right outside the terminal. Go to the booking counter, tell them your destination, and get an idea of the fare before getting into the taxi. Always use registered taxis to avoid scams. Kullu-Manali Airport in Bhuntar and Dharamsala Airport are also well-connected to the city centers. You can get a cab there as well.

By train
Himachal Pradesh has tough terrain, so the Indian Railway hasn't expanded much. But, there are still some unique train rides you can enjoy. A track connects Pathankot (in Punjab) to Kangra, and Kalka (in Haryana) to Shimla. The journey takes about eight hours and is worth the experience. One of the best rides is the Kalka-Shimla Toy Train, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can see massive mountains, green valleys, oak and pine forests, and beautiful meadows. The six-hour journey feels like it ends too soon because of the amazing views. There are other trains on the Kalka-Shimla route. These include the Shivalik Deluxe Express, Shimla Express, Shimla Kalka Passenger, and Himalayan Queen. Explore the beautiful state with our Himachal Pradesh Holiday Packages.
By car

A cheaper and the best way to travel to Himachal Pradesh is by road. Himachal has beautiful roads that connect to major cities in India. Traveling by road lets you reach the state's most remote regions. You can drive to Himachal yourself or rent a cab from Delhi. Many state-owned and private bus operators can take you to large cities in Himachal. It is best to drive during the day since some roads can be challenging. Keep in mind that some roads close during the monsoon or winter due to landslides or heavy snowfall. Book Kiomoi’s Manali Honeymoon Package from Delhi and begin your awesome trip.
