There are statues of the demon Mahishasura in the Chamundeshwari temple as well; you can even view the massive statues while driving up to the temple.
The Nandi statue, a cow-shaped figure with immense significance in Hindu mythology, is also housed at the temple. The Lalitha Mahal Palace and other notable city monuments are seen from the breathtaking viewpoint of the temple.
