Chungthang Valley is the beauty of North Sikkim located in the small village of the Chungthang at the meeting point of the Lachen and Lachung rivers. It is also thought that when travelling through China and Tibet, Guru Nanak Dev Ji stopped by Chungthang. Required permits: This place is in a restricted area so a special permit has to be arranged in addition to the Sikkim Inner Line Permit.
