Weather: It's freezing in the winter. Snowfall is frequent, particularly near the top, resulting in a stunning winter scene. Winter clothing must include heavy woollens, thermal clothing, gloves, scarves, and a high-quality jacket. For trekking in the snow, appropriate winter footwear is also advised.

Jeolikot is easily accessible from Nainital, about 18 km away. To reach Jeolikot, you can take a taxi or a local bus from Nainital. It's well-connected by road, with regular buses and taxis available from Kathgodam (23 km) and Haldwani (30 km). The nearest railway station is Kathgodam, and the nearest airport is Pantnagar, 56 km away. Self-driving is also a convenient option.
