Jeypore Rainforest

Jeypore Rainforest is located in Dibrugarh and is well-known for its lush and biodiverse area which is famous for its rich flora and fauna. This rainforest is spread over an area of 108 sq. km. and is one of the last remaining rainforests of Assam which plays an important role in maintaining the ecological balance of the area. Hollong is the main species of trees here and these trees have a height of 50 metres. Animals that can be seen in this forest are elephants, hornbills, leopards, flying squirrels, pythons, spotted deer, and langurs.
