Lake Pichola is an outstanding artificial freshwater lake which is situated in Udaipur and was built in 1362 AD. The lake is surrounded by lush hills, palaces and temples which makes it a popular tourist destination. The lake is 4 kilometres long and 3 kilometres wide, with several islands, including the famous Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas (now the Taj Lake Palace).

Temperature: Ranges between 30°C to 45°C.

Weather: Pleasant and cool, with clear skies and mild temperatures. It's best to wear light to moderate woollens, especially on chilly evenings.
How to Reach
Fly into Maharana Pratap Airport (22 km away) or take the train to Udaipur City Railway Station (3 km away) to get to it. Hire a cab or an autorickshaw from there. Due to its central location, the Lake Pichola Udaipur is conveniently reachable by car. A lot of lodging facilities and tourist attractions with magnificent lake views are close by and accessible by foot.
