Also called Sydney Point, Lodwick Point is named after General Peter Lodwick who was the first British to climb the hill in April 1824, a few months later, this point was erected in his honour. His son, to commemorate his father's achievements for all time, built this around 25 feet high column. 


Enclosing the sculptures of the head of General Peter ornately carved out of marble. Additionally, there is Lord Lodwicks huge statue which has been a major luring factor for most of the foreign tourists visiting every single year.
