How to Reach 

By road, begin in Puri town, which is well-connected to Bhubaneswar (60 km distant) on NH316. From there, proceed to the Markandeswara Temple in Puri. To go to Puri, take a bus or taxi from Bhubaneswar. Once in Puri, proceed in the direction of Swargadwar, where the temple is situated. To get to the temple, you can take rickshaws or cycle rickshaws, which are forms of local transportation. It takes roughly 1.5 hours to drive from Bhubaneswar to Puri, and the temple is conveniently located among the city's main thoroughfares.
