Festivals: Bhutan celebrates festivals according to seasonal, religious, secular, and traditional ways. One of the major secular festivals is the anniversary of the coronation of the King and his birthday and the National Day. Seasonal festivals that are celebrated are the end of the monsoon season and the winter solstice (called Dongzhi).
