Nepal is a country which has rich geography, culture, religion and out of the ordinary locales where life is filled with zeal. The land is filled with many vibrant bright colors - blossoms which provoke you to look out and explore the beauty of nature - with green trees and with snow-covered mountain tops just like icing on the cake.
The land of Nepal is covered 75% with hills in terms of topography which is why the region is cold during summer period also and is an awesome tourist destination when the sun is blazing hot.
The total area of the land is 143,351 sq. km while that of the water zone is about 3,830 sq. km. Nepal shares its international boundary with China and Indian states of Bihar, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Sikkim, and West Bengal.
It is home to two more distinct horizontal regions. Some of the interesting cities here are Lalitpur, Bharatpur, Pokhara, and Kathmandu as the capital city, which is considered as the metropolitan city has a population of 1 million according to a recent survey. According to the research Pokhara, a city established on Phewa lake is known for being the gateway to the Annapurna circuit and is also recommended as a great tourist destination.
Nepal was ruled by kings called Monarchy. This region was ruled by the Shah dynasty for 200 years.
Later, there were several protests this monarchical rule where citizens were desperate to eradicate such a system. After a long period of struggle, they were successful, and Nepal became the Federal Republic and ended 200 years rule of the Shah dynasty. Nepalese became the official language used by the general public and the government for communication purposes.
Nepal is characterized by the following four M's’ that distinguishes it from other countries. These are: -

3) Multicultural
4) Multilingual
The land has various ethnic groups, has different races that coexist together and supports several cultures too. Residents of the country speak in several languages and are followers of different religions but have been living harmoniously for ages now.
