Paro: Paro has long been considered to be one of the most beautiful towns in the kingdom of Bhutan. This is a vibrant town that will leave a lasting impression on you, with its colorfully painted ethnic restaurants, stores, and residences. Moreover, there are many places to visit in this lovely area.

Thimpu: Thimphu bestows upon visitors the best of both worlds-the charms of an ancient city combined with the bustling vibrancy of a developing city. Being the capital city of the Kingdom of Bhutan, you get to see government officials sitting side by side with Buddhist monks, concrete multi-storied buildings juxtaposed with ancient monasteries, and ethnic works of art sharing pride of place with all the amenities of modern society. Enjoy local cuisine while visiting different parts of Bhutan and note the difference in taste and preparations from region to region.

Dochula: Dochula is a beautiful mountain pass close to Thimphu. The mountain pass is the magnificent locale to capture the spectacular panorama of the mighty Himalayan vistas as it is perched atop approximately 3000 meters above sea level.

Punakha: Being the capital city of Bhutan till the late 1960s, the city of Punakha has a regal bearing that has been maintained over the years. It is one of the most visited destinations in a tourist itinerary.

Wangdue: Wangdue Phodrang is the capital city of the district by the same name located in central Bhutan. The most prominent feature of this city is the Dzong (fortress-monastery) by the same name.

Haa: The Haa district is famous for its Haa Valley, which is a steep and majestic valley that is stunning in its panoramic beauty. This is one of the least populated districts in the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Laya: The Laya Village, found in the western region of Bhutan, is a very special village under the district of Gasa. At 3700 meters above sea level, this is the highest village in the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Phuentsholing: Phuentsholing is the administrative capital of the district of Chukha in the Kingdom of Bhutan. This is a border town that is near the town of Jaigong in India. Being the second-largest populated town in Bhutan, and so near the Indian border, the economy is thriving in this town, giving visitors a good mix of both ancient ways of living and a modern lifestyle. This town is easily accessible by bus from the Indian cities of Siliguri and Kolkata.

Bumthang: The Bumthang district in the Kingdom of Bhutan is the historic and religious epicenter of the country. In this district, you can find some of the oldest and most beautiful monastery-fortresses and temples.

Jakar: Jakar or Chamkhar is located in the foothills of Chokhor Valley. This central Bhutan’s district is one of the principal trading centers of the area.

Gelepho: The entranceway to South-central Bhutan, Gelephu is a popular border town. Unlike other border towns that are bustling with activity, this town is serene and peaceful.
