Barabati Fort
Barabati Fort constructed by the Ganga dynasty of Odisha located on the bank of river Mahanadi is a must-see place in Cuttack Tourism. It is situated close to the Baliyatra Ground and is situated on the western side of the Millennium City. Even though the fort occupies 102 acres area, it also has a moat measuring 20 yards in width for defense of the building. The place has now the ruins of the palace on an earthen mound, a hyacinth-filled moat, and the fort. In the later part of the 14th century, Mukundadev Harichandan a Chalukyan King had constructed nine-story palaces. In recent years some carved images of Hindu gods and goddesses and dancing female figures have been discovered from various places including the area of the moat. The entrance of the gate of the fort is enduring and decorated with giant laterite stones. Ideally, the best time to visit this place is in the winter season.
Cuttack Chandi Temple
The Cuttack Chandi Temple is located in Cuttack and is dedicated to the Goddess Chandi. It is among the famous Cuttack places to visit and is situated near the Mahanadi River. This temple is said to be one of the oldest and is visited by more than 20 lakh people in a year. Here people pay their homage to Goddess Kata Chandi and she is believed to be the deity of the Silver City. Dhabaleswar Island
Dhabaleswar or Dhabaleshwar Island is a beautiful tourist spot for watching which is constructed on the Mahanadhi River. Bhitarkanika National Park
Seated in a 672-kilometer area, the Bhitarkanika Indian Wildlife Sanctuary is in Orissa. It is the second largest Mangrove ecosystem in India and is one of the best places to visit in Cuttack. Mahanadi Barrage

Netaji Birth Place Museum
The Netaji Birth Place Museum is a historical and cultural place in Cuttack. The museum is his birthplace, an ancestral house in which Netaji was born on the 23rd of January in the year 1897. Odisha State Maritime Museum
The Odisha State Maritime Museum was established on 1st April 2013 and is unique of its kind in the State. It is located in the south of the Mahanadi River and is counted among the most interesting places to visit in Odisha. Regarding the architectural features, the Odisha State Maritime Museum consists of 11 galleries. The introduction gallery contains information about the place where the museum is positioned and its previous background. This Gallery has three parts, the first section shows how the workshop was formed and changed into the Museum and such materials as plans, photographs, and several real exhibits. The second section provides objects that show the existence of the workshop and its activities, especially the navigation equipment in the workshop. The third section also has some details regarding the Museum along with an audio-visual section that plays short movies on the marine history of Odisha. QadamI-Rasool
Qadam e Rasool is a footprint of Mohammed and is located at Cuttack. It is a shrine and it is one of the best examples of Mughal architecture in Odisha. Paying respect for the footprints of Prophet Muhammad, it consists of three mosques and one ‘Natyamandira’, the dancing hall, which shows cultural and religious unity in one place. Therefore, from the findings about the temples, it can be concluded that Odisha architecture is a blending of Hindu-Muslim style. Paramahansa Nath Temple
Sri Paramahansa Nath Temple at Cuttack Odisha is one of the most famous Lord Shiva temples in the state of Odisha. Barabati Stadium
The Barabati Stadium is an Indian sports stadium, mostly used for cricket and association football sometimes for concerts and sometimes for field hockey located in Cuttack. The stadium is owned and operated by the Odisha Olympic Association. It is home to the national football championship called the Santosh trophy. The Barabati Stadium is one of the oldest grounds in India; it hosted many touring sides such as the MCC, the West Indies, and the Australians before it staged its first ITM. While it is not a permanent member of the Test playing countries it still serves as a regular One Day International venue. It also hosted the Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2013.
