The Jaldapara National Park is situated in the West Bengal District of Jalpaiguri. The park's total size is 216.51 Km2. Jaldapara National Park offers a wonderful view with thick trees that climb to the sky and allow very little sunshine to enter. The park includes a mix of woodland, grasslands, marshes, and waterways.
The Torsha River runs through this rainforest park, covered mostly with long grasses, and the Sanctuary has luxurious greenery and diverse fauna. The river Malangi similarly runs from east to west. Jaldapara is located 61 m above sea level. The Torsa, Malangi, Hollong, Chirakhawa, Kalijhora, Sissamara, Bhaluka, and Buri rivers drained away. The west bank of the Torsha River is named Jaldapara, while the eastern side is called the woods of Chilapata. Grassland covers more than 30 percent of the entire area.
