<p>Dear Mr Raut There are local trains between CST and karjat very frequently. Take the local train from Karjat and get down at Neral which will take &nbsp;20 minutes from karjat and take a cab to reach Matheran which will be another 20 minutes.The toy Train service is also available from Neral to Matheran but Frequency is very poor. </p><p>Please reach Matheran only after Hotel booking as summer vacation is going on and on the spot booking will be expensive and will be difficult.</p><p>pp jain</p>

By Meterological&nbsp;Dept. it is predicted that this year Monsoon in Mumbai &amp; near by (Matheran etc.) will begins at first&nbsp;week to second week of June 2010.<br />&nbsp;<br />There is little chance of very very scanty rain fall (pre monsoon showers) in end of May,<br />Nothing to worry about this pre monsoon rain.
