Located almost at the center of Nagaland state, Mokokchung is well-connected to the rest
of the state. It has six distinct hill ranges parallel to each other and is pointed in either the
northeast or southwest directions. This area is pleasant and mild for almost ten months in
the year. The maximum temperature is mostly in the mid-twenties. The monsoon in this
area brings about a lot of mist.
The mountainous area is known for its tranquil atmosphere with cool breezes, lush foliage,
and gurgling springs.
