The weather in Mussoorie is quite pleasant throughout the year making it a year-round hill station to visit. Almost all the activities and other adventure sports are available throughout the year expect for some winter sports like Skiing and Snow-boarding that can be ventured on in the nearby areas. March marks the beginning of summertime in Mussoorie and lasts till June, and can be considered as the best time to visit Mussoorie if you are more interested in River Rafting and sightseeing. After May it gets quite hot and during clear skies it becomes scorching hot without any winds at that time. The Best Time to Visit Mussoorie is during winters and is hands down the best season to visit Mussoorie for an overall best experience. The winter season starts from October and last till February and the entire city turns white with the snow, attracting a lot of tourists from all over the country. You can witness the Snowfall in Mussoorie from December to February and venture on to Skiing and Snowboarding along with some other winter adventure sports to take on the thrilling experience that this mesmerizing place offers. Even though the temperature falls to zero, it does not stop the people from venturing out and explore this beautiful hill station to its fullest.

Monsoon season starts in July and lasts till September and is not considered as an ideal time to visit Mussoorie. During this season the hill station receives heavy rainfall and landslides leading to frequent roadblocks, making it difficult to make the most out of the place. Even though the lush greenery is at its peak and the natural landscapes liven up. it becomes difficult to explore due to the rainfall. Due to heavy rain the tourists’ inflow is low and results in slash in the hotel prices.
