Trekking to Netarhat Peak 
The trek to Netarhat Peak is another thrilling activity that you will enjoy. It is one of the best things to do in Netrahat. The trek is through forests and up and down hilly areas before reaching the highest point of Netarhat. This hill also provides a good view of the hills and valleys in the near vicinity. The hike is quite moderate and therefore appropriate for beginners. When you are moving up the path, the sounds of birds and a gentle breeze fill the surroundings. You can wake up early in the morning and it can be completed within a couple of days to several weeks. It depends on the starting point and how fast you will be trekking. Magnolia Sunset Point 
It is one of the famous sunset points situated at Netarhat, Jharkhand. Located at a high ground level where you can sit and watch the sunset and the orange and pink colors that it reflects above the hills and the valleys. The place is very serene and photographers will find the view very interesting to capture. Towards the evening, the whole area is devoid of noise and pollution, with the fascinating background of the Chotanagpur Plateau. Betla National Park 
Betla National Park is a beautiful national park that is spread over the hilly area of the beautiful Palamau district, situated west of Ranchi of Jharkhand. The name Betla is an acronym for Bison, Elephant, Tiger, Leopard, and Axis. The feature that makes this park stretch other is the fact that this park is home to two forts within the compound. You can view the wildlife up close at this park. It is one of the most famous national parks of the North East. There are several sal and bamboo trees grown in the park. The Southern part of the forest is occupied by Sal trees. The park area has upward-rising terrains where small hills such as the Netarhat, Huluk, Murhu, and Gulgul are found. Waterfalls and hot water springs which are located in the park make the place more attractive for tourists.

Netarhat Dam 
The Netarhat Dam is located in the Latehar district of Jharkhand. It is a magnificent tourist destination that visitors from every corner of the world come to visit. The Upper Dam area is the best area to gaze at nature, take a hike, and also enjoy an open-air food picnic. The construction of the dam was during British rule in the country. It is an off-stream reservoir, which is an existing dam that still furnishes water to the area. The extent of the dam is 4 sq km. Visitors can experience different outdoor activities, which include watching a beautiful sunset. Other activities including fishing, and bird watching are also available. The best time to visit the dam is between October and June. At this time of the year, the climate is relatively cool and the environment is ideal for outdoor activities. 

Upper Ghaghri Waterfall 
The Upper Ghaghri located at Netarhat in Jharkhand, is one of the most attractive waterfalls. It drops water through a distance of roughly 40 feet and is located in a region that has been naturally decorated with foliage and sharp rocks. It is clear and cascading enabling lovers of nature and photographers a vantage view of the beauty that exists within. Local Cuisine
The food habits of the Netrahats are rooted in the tribal people and the availability of food resources in the Lathehar district of Jharkhand. The food of Netarhat has also been prepared in its original style, which is authentic Jharkhand flavors. Specialties of the day are “littichokha”, a homely delicacy of wheat flour dumplings steamed and served with mashed vegetables and spices, and “thekua”, a sweet cracker prepared with wheat flour, jaggery, and coconut. Some of these include “Dal-pitha” – rice flour dumplings filled with spiced lentils and chaat, a tangy and spicy street dish. The incorporation of locally produced food is well appreciated and has rustic organic flavors. A lot of emphasis is given to agricultural produce. The food provided here is as close to the traditional dishes available in the interiors of Jharkhand as possible.

Netarhat Forest 
The forests of Netarhat are situated in the Chotanagpur Plateau and it offers bio diverse geographical territories. Such timbered regions are a treasure trove of both plant and animal species and its visitors will have the treat of a lifetime. Trekking and nature walks can be organized around the Netarhat where the forest paths are trimmed and traces of wildlife are easily seen.
