Jaipur

Jaipur is also known as the ‘Pink City’ due to the pink buildings that adorn the city. It is famous for its splendid palaces, colorful markets, and large forts. Udaipur

Udaipur, popularly recognized as the city of lakes, is yet another gorgeous jewel located in Rajasthan. Positioned in Aravalli’s, the city is acclaimed for what it has in store – azure-coloured lakes and massive palaces. Udaipur sightseeing has beautiful places like City Palace, Lake Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Jagdish Temple, and Sajjangarh Palace. You can also try a boat ride on the Lake Pichola. Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is famously called the ‘Golden City’ located in the Thar desert flaunting the glory of sandstone architecture. Jaisalmer Fort is a part of the World Heritage list and is made up of golden yellow sandstone. It contains several narrow lanes, elaboratively carved havelis, as well as the Maharaja’s Palace. Jodhpur

Pushkar

Pushkar is a temple town situated in Rajasthan away from Ajmer. It is famous for having the only Brahma temple in the world. Each November Pushkar becomes the venue of the most important among the Indian fairs – Pushkar Mela or the camel fair. Several people come to visit the Pushkar Mela from different corners of the world. Mount Abu

As the only hill station in Rajasthan, Mount Abu is situated in the Aravali ranges. It is one of the best places to visit in Rajasthan. The main site is the Dilwara temple which is among the most beautiful structures in India. These temples were constructed over centuries almost 1000 years ago. Ajmer

Ajmer city is famous for the shrine and burial place of saint Muin-ud-din Chishti which is known as the Ajmer Shariff. This makes Ajmer one of the biased sites of worship for Muslims in the world. You can also visit the Golden Jain Temple, which also makes the city a famous religious destination for Jains. This is due to the popular Urs festival for the Saint Moinuddin Chishti death anniversary where people from different corners of the world come to the city. Other major attractions in addition to the Ajmer Dargah are the Adhai Din ka Jhopra, Ana Sagar Lake, Foy Sagar Lake, Ajmer Government Museum, and Taragarh Fort.

Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh is famous for its massive fortress Chittorgarh Fort which is the largest fort in India located on the hilltop having an area of about 700 acres. Chittorgarh has the honor of being placed in Chattari Rajput leadership and it is hard to be forgotten in history due to its famous battles the most famous of which was the battle of Alauddin Khilji. Inside the fort, you can see Rana Kumbha Palace which is the largest building in the fort. The famous landmark in Chittorgarh Fort is the Padmini Palace because of the Queen, Padmini. Chittorgarh Fort timings are from 9 am to 6 pm, from Tuesday to Sunday. It remains closed on Mondays. 

Bikaner

Bikaner is a historically rich city situated in the middle of the Thar desert. It is counted as one of the famous places to visit in Rajasthan. Bikaner with its gesture towards architectural and artistic splendor full of colours and celebration. It features an old-world charm, palaces, and royal houses which portray a picture of the Rajputs’ glamorous past. You can also visit the Karni Mata temple Binaker to take blessings of the Goddess Karni. This city is also home to one of only two similar models of the bi-plane used by the British in World War I. It is also popular as the venue of the International Camel Festival. 

Khatu Shyam

Khatu Shyam is a small town in Rajasthan that is famous for the eminent temple of Lord Krishna known as Khatu Shyam. This place holds a religious value and every year hundreds of people come here to pray and feel the spirit. The temple is carved out beautifully and colored rather vibrantly and is dedicated to the Lord Shyam who is worshipped as the Krishna avatar of Barbareek, the grandson of Bhima. Sawai Madhopur

Sawai Madhopur is located in the state of Rajasthan and gets its popularity due to the Ranthambore National Park. Bharatpur

Bharatpur in Rajasthan is famous for the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary where more than 370 species of animals and birds reside. 
It is esteemed as one of the most advanced areas for bird feeding and breeding. The park was designated as a National Park in 1982, further in 1985 it was enlisted as a World Heritage Site.
