Jabarkhet Nature Resort is the first privately owned and operated wildlife sanctuary in Uttarakhand. Mussoorie Tour Packages gives you a beautiful trip to the place located on the Mussoorie-Dhanaulti road which is around 15 km from and is spread over 100 acres with a height of 2000 meters. 

Jabarkhet Nature Reserve has eight well-defined walking paths that you can explore with or without our nature guides. Visitors will discover a variety of trees depending on the seasons, ferns, flowers and mushrooms can be found on the different paths. 

The reserve is home to over 150 species of plants, with paths winding through dense forests of oak, rhododendron and pine. This Nature Reserve of Mussoorie is set around different zones with a variety of rare plants, insects, reptiles, animals, trees, birds, and mammals. 

This place is heaven for bird lovers as they can keep their eyes on the colourful birds they can see over 50 species of amazing birds. If visitors are lucky they might even spot some mammals like the Himalayan black bear, the barking deer or the langur swinging through the trees.

Jabarkhet Nature Resort Weather

Monsoon:

Temperature: 10°C to 21°C.

Weather: It usually rains and is very humid. There is a chance of landslides and heavy rainfall in the area. The essentials are an umbrella, sturdy, non-slip shoes, waterproof clothing, and raincoats. Be careful because the paths could get slick.

Summer:

Temperature: 21°C to 32°C.

Weather: The sky is generally clear, with sporadic showers. Travellers love this time of year because of the crisp mountain air. Wearing light-coloured cotton clothing, sunglasses, a headpiece, and comfortable walking shoes are all recommended ways to protect oneself from the sun.

Autumn:

Temperature: 4°C to 18°C.

Weather: The weather is often clean and dry with little to no rain. For the cool evenings, dress in light coats or jackets, cosy walking shoes, and scarves or shawls.

Winter:

Temperature: -6°C to 4°C.

Weather: Snowfall is possible, but not guaranteed. a dry, cool, and clear sky. Make sure you wear heavy woollens, thermal apparel, gloves, caps, and sturdy boots to stay warm and navigate any snow-covered pathways.

How to Reach

The Jaberkhet Wildlife Reserve is 30 minutes away from Mussoorie's Library Chawk and is situated on the Mussoorie-Dhanaulti route. You can drive yourself or reserve a private taxi. It only takes fifteen minutes to get there from Landour or Picture Palace, which is even closer.
