Located in Himachal Pradesh, Sarchu is a popular halting factor for tourists travelling on the Leh-Manali motorway. Standing at a height of approximately 4,290 meters (14,070 feet). How to Reach


Sarchu is around 222 miles away from Manali along the Leh-Manali Highway (NH3). The average travel time is seven to nine hours, depending on the state of the roads. The Atal Tunnel and the Green Tax Barrier at Gulaba are important toll plazas along the way. Tolls range from about ?50 to ?100 each car. The road winds through beautiful regions, such as Baralacha La and Rohtang Pass, making the drive both challenging and scenic—especially in inclement weather. It's a good idea to carry the required permits and to verify the state of the roads before you travel.
