Sohpetbneng Peak, often referred to as the "Navel of Heaven", is a sacred mountain close to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya in northeastern India At approximately 1,344 meters (4,409 feet) above sea stage, the mountain has a unique secular significance for the Khasi human beings tribe.
According to Khasi mythology, Sohpetbneng Peak is the cable in which the celestial golden bridge connects heaven and earth and shortly lets in the Khasis to talk with the divine
