Dawki is best approached from the air although there is no airport in Dawki itself. The nearest airfield is Umroi Airport, which lies around 120 kilometres away from Dawki. From this point, travellers will have to get a taxi or bus and go through a three hour trip. With limited connectivity, the airport serves as a domestic one only. For better destination connectivity, Guwahati Airport is the best option when connecting with other major cities in India. It is approximately one hundred and ninety-five kilometres away from Dawki.
