Kasauli is located amidst the forests of Chir-pine, Himalayan oak and huge chestnuts in Himachal Pradesh. It is always better to be informed about the climatic condition of a place particularly when it’s a hill station before going there.

The chilly winters in Kasauli last from November to February. There is very rare snowfall during the winter with a maximum temperature of 28°C and a minimum of 14°C. Heavy woolens clothes are recommended, as the temperature can dip down to the freezing point
