Nuranang Falls, also called Bongbong Falls or Jang Falls, is a beautiful waterfall located in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India at an altitude of about 100 meters (328 ft) nestled in the serene foothills of the Eastern Himalayas at the beauty. The falls are fed through the Nuranang River, which rises at Sela Pass from a high mountain skip.


Nuranang Falls isn't always the most effective herbal surprise however also has cultural importance. Primarily named after a local Monpa woman, Nura, who reportedly helped an Indian soldier all through the length of the Sino-Indian War in 1962, the falls have been undiscovered and sparsely populated, and they give cushy and smooth surroundings for visitors.

How to Reach

To reach Nuranang Falls from Tawang, take a car or taxi on NH 13. The falls are about 40 km away. The journey takes around 1.5 hours, offering scenic views of the Eastern Himalayas. The road is winding and may require careful driving.
