Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

Located inside the Morigaon district of Assam, India, the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is a small but massive location diagnosed as a dense population of Indian rhinos overlaying an area of approximately 38.8 square kilometres, and is one of the maximum densely populated regions for tigers in the international one mile. Pobitora was transformed into a declared natural world sanctuary in 1987, and the road to the famous Kaziranga National Park is largely included. 

Apart from elephants, Pobitora is domestic to a wide variety of vegetation and fauna consisting of elephants, wild boars and rhinos The Sanctuary is also a haven for bird watchers, with more than 200 species of migratory and resident birds recorded in the document. How to Reach

To reach Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary from Guwahati, take a taxi or bus. It's about 50 km away, requiring a 1.5 to 2-hour drive. Buses from Adabari Bus Station or taxis from the city centre offer convenient options. Best travel time: early morning.
