By Train: There is no railway station in Tawang itself. So, you have to reach either Guwahati railway station or Rangapara railway station - Tezpur (383 Km) away from Tawang and From here, you can hire a taxi or a bus.
By Road: To Tawang, numerous local buses and cabs ply from Bhalukpong (262 kms), Tezpur (319 kms), Udalguri (390 kms), and other places. While on a road trip, you can enjoy the beauty of the country.
